A mezze restaurant in Burlington, VT, featuring flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean (Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon), Morocco, and Greece. Meals, bar snacks, plates for passing, a cocktail menu that introduced us to the bubble back (cocktail with a shot of champagne), and a delightfully creative dessert menu to finish the evening.
As pioneers of the Vermont wine industry, founded in 1998, Shelburne Vineyard now harvests almost 17 acres of grapes annually from three vineyard sites in Shelburne and Charlotte. With a focus on cold climate grapes, Shelburne Vineyard has created a full palate of red, white and rosé wines. In addition, their location along the shores of Lake Champlain allows for cultivating a small planting of more tender varieties including Riesling and Vidal Blanc. With experience comes knowledge that has given Shelburne Vineyard the confidence to also explore some more esoteric realms of winemaking, giving birth to the line of Iapetus wines launched in 2017, crafted with minimal intervention and native yeasts to reflect the land and environment of the farm.
Burlington Beer Company is an independent craft brewery that opened in May 2014. We strive to find a balance between going too far and staying rooted in tradition. Our Flynn Avenue restaurant and taproom is redefining what a Brew-Pub can be. We offer 25+ House Beers on tap ranging from hazy hop forward Pale ales to Triple IPAs as well as a plethora of fruit beers and lagers and pilsners. We also love brewing dark beers like Brown Ale's, Porter's, Oatmeal Stout, Double Stout's, and Imperial Stouts. Paired with the beers is thoughtfully crafted, locally sourced food and seasonal specials, along with cocktails, wine, cider, and a variety of guest taps providing a one of a kind dining experience. Glengarry Fine Cheese is located in Eastern Ontario just north of the village of Lancaster. We specialize in Fine Artisan style cheese from our neighbours Brown Swiss cow herd. We manufacture our cheese on location, to exacting standards of care. This results in delicious, fine cheese that is unlike anything you've ever tasted! Opened in 2011, the Fromagerie Montebello creates quality products that attract visitors from around the region and beyond. It sells locally made fresh cheese, cheese curd, cheese strings and fine cheeses, as well as a selection of cheeses from across Quebec. Open from March to December, this family farm produces a variety of fruits and vegetables for self-picking and on-site sales: asparagus, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, vegetables, sweet corn, apples, pumpkins, squash, and Christmas trees. Maple, Easter, and Halloween activities are also available, as well as outdoor mini-barn rentals for children's parties. A barn with animals, a playground, and tractor rides are also available. Visit the shop where you'll find homemade pastries and preserves as well as several local products.

Snow Farm Vineyard began as a dream on the West Shore of South Hero, Vermont. In an effort to preserve Vermont's agricultural land in the face of rapid development by providing an alternative for farmers, grapes were planted in the fields. The microclimate of the Champlain Islands, permits the growth of cooler climate, vinifera grapes like Riesling. In addition to cold hardy french hybrid varieties like, Vidal Blanc, Seyval Blanc, Leon Millot and Baco Noir. Snow Farm also produces an ice wine, a product that cannot be made in many other places around the world. Snow Farm Vineyard is Vermont’s first commercial vineyard & winery producing craft wines from the heart of the Champlain Islands since 1997. The Snow Farm Inn is the historic 1820s farmhouse by the lake. There are gardens with historic Harry Barber stone castles, wedding ceremony locations and vineyard views in the field across the road.
