Crossing customs with food
What type of food can you bring through U.S. customs
Condiments, oils, vinegar, packaged spices, honey, coffee, tea, and baked goods are usually allowed. Some cheeses are also permitted. However, wild game meat and almost all meat products, such as broth, are not allowed. As for fruits and vegetables, it depends on where you purchased them and where you are going.
