Eastern Townships

The Eastern Townships’ gourmet scene: a kaleidoscope of flavours! Terroir, diversity and quality define the gourmet scene of the Eastern Townships. This region, a true heaven for epicureans, offers a unique culinary experience in all seasons. The region is located in southeastern Quebec, an hour drive from Montreal.

  • 30 artisanal microbreweries “Brasseurs des Cantons” offering 500 beers
  • 14 cheesemakers “Les Têtes fromagères” and over 100 cheeses
  • 16 cafes certified “Cafés de village” for a local gourmet break
  • Over 40 vineyards, including 22 on the Brome-Missisquoi Wine Route
  • Several cideries and microdistilleries, the region is also a pioneer in the field of ice cider.
