As a regional tourism association, one of our mandates is to help the region’s tourist businesses, through a variety of partnerships, to expand their experiences and their economic development.
Since the Outaouais is a key gateway to the province of Quebec, it’s important for our organization to collaborate with other destinations on an initiative like the International Tasting Trail, which encourages visitors from all over to come discover the territories of the region through their various gourmet attractions.

The Eastern Townships’ gourmet scene: a kaleidoscope of flavours! Terroir, diversity and quality define the gourmet scene of the Eastern Townships. This region, a true heaven for epicureans, offers a unique culinary experience in all seasons. The region is located in southeastern Quebec, an hour drive from Montreal.

- 30 artisanal microbreweries “Brasseurs des Cantons” offering 500 beers
- 14 cheesemakers “Les Têtes fromagères” and over 100 cheeses
- 16 cafes certified “Cafés de village” for a local gourmet break
- Over 40 vineyards, including 22 on the Brome-Missisquoi Wine Route
- Several cideries and microdistilleries, the region is also a pioneer in the field of ice cider.
